At our shows and special events we proudly serve the wonderful and unique wines of Stone Cottage Cellars owned by our friends the Helleckson family. Their winery, located above Paonia on Garvin Mesa is a marvel of nature and science. Brent and Karen, and their brilliant offspring Stephanie and Jacob, have worked slavishly for the past fifteen years to solve the puzzle of winemaking at higher altitude.

We know you’ll agree that Brent’s background as a NASA scientist seems to have produced a solution to the puzzle. We love their dry Gewurztraminer, their big, but smooth Syrah and their perfectly balanced Alpine Dessert wine. When you visit Paonia don’t miss the glories of the West Elk Wine District that now includes a dozen wineries.
